Aww… It has been a long, long time since I’ve heard from Garri. I haven’t even visited him at all, for fear of letting him know of my crush.

But today Garri sent me a message. While I was picking it up to view it, I saw Hideeni loitering around my house. He saw the name ‘Garri’ written on it, and wanted to stop me from viewing it.

“Don’t read it, Jeanette!” Hideeni exclaimed. He was acting pretty weird these days, including his appearances without shadows.

“Why not?” I questioned.

I opened the note and it read:

It was such a sweet note! And what’s more, Garri was being himself–honest. He told me he didn’t know how to prepare other foods. I readily and elatedly agreed.

Hideeni was pouting. “I wanted to ask you out for dinner!” he wailed.

I told him I was booked for the evening, and went to my dressing room to pick a dress. He vanished into thin air.

I pondered over which dress I should wear…

…when I spotted my very, very old black evening dress.

I had forgotten completely about this dress! I tried it on immediately.

I look magnificent, don’t I? I pushed my sunglasses down and put on a pretty black rose hairband. I changed my shoes to the groovy heels shoes. Don’t I look nicer now?

For the finishing touch, I decided that my wig clashes with the flowers I have on my wrist, so I changed to the nice, ladylike, petite faerie wig.

There! Don’t I look pretty?

I strolled to Garri’s house, which is something like, a million steps away. Finally I couldn’t take it, and hired a taxi. When I reached Garri’s house, I greeted him with a hug. Imagine the shock I got when I spotted the Hideeni frowning.

“Hey! Why is he here?” I asked Garri.

“Oh, he told me you asked him to come here. At first I was flabbergasted that he would be joining us, but I thought, oh well, the more the merrier.” Garri replied honestly.

I pulled Hideeni out, and chided him severely. “Even if you’re jealous, how can you ruin my date?” I scolded him.

“Uh, never mind, I guess I’ll just blast off,” he replied.

And he did.

I had brought a strawberry cake for me, and a blueberry-cherry cake for Garri, for I loved strawberries–ooh, the sweetness of it!–and Garri loved blueberries. We wolfed them down heartily.

Then we watched the telly.

After that, it was time to say goodbye. Garri told me that the dresses he hanged on the wall were for me.

I thanked him, and told him about the surprise present I bought for him–a stylish male wig!

The next time I saw him, he was wearing his Stylish Male Wig and me, my Wendy outfit.

Garri told me that I was Wendy, and he was Peter Pan, the never-growing spirit. I laughed at his joke.

I was still thinking of the Hideeni, and his words. Who do you think I should choose?
